Deaths - Funeral of Joël RAULT (IENAC 64)

Joël Rault died on January 2nd at the age of 80.
His funeral will take place on Friday January 5th at 2:30 pm at the Sainte-Victoire church, 1 rue centrale, 06610 LA GAUDE.

A 1964 ENAC engineer and 1970 civil aviation engineer, he began his career in the French West Indies. He was head of the civil aviation department for Réunion, Mayotte and the Eparses Islands until 1985. He was then head of the Nice district, before being called upon in the mid-90s to head the Reims regional air navigation center, which was facing a difficult social situation. He continued in Toulouse as Directorof Civil Aviation South from 2001 until his retirement in 2008.

Retired, he was a member of the Toulouse airport supervisory board in 2007-2008, then chairman of the Montpellier supervisory board from 2009 to 2015, and chairman of the supervisory board of Roland Garros airport in La Réunion from 2017 to 2020.

He was a member of the GIACRE board and very active in this association.
