Georges DELOM (IENAC 1958 - L)
Deaths - Funeral of Georges DELOM (IENAC 58)
Georges DELOM began his career with the French Civil Aviation Authority as an air traffic controller (CNA/C 1956). He worked at the Athis Mons center before taking the internal ITNA exam (IENAC 1958).
After his training, he was assigned to the STNA, specializing in radar, which led him to theENAC when the school moved to Toulouse, where he taught the basics of radar to many graduating classes.
He then passed the IAC internal competitive examination (class of 1970). He continued his career at ENAC in the electronics department and then as head of the Air department before joining Drac/so as deputy to Christian FOILLARD.
He joined DNA in Paris as head of Human Resources, and in this capacity took part in the first protocols. As deputy to the DNA, he continued his career with Yves LAMBERT, before taking up the position of Chargé de Mission to the Managing Director in charge of IACs and IEEACs.
He joined the Inspection Générale before retiring in 2000 at the age of 65.
In addition to all his publications on radar at ENAC, he will be remembered by all the technical bodies at DNA for his ability to listen and his human touch in HR management, as well as his sense of dialogue with departments and staff representatives.
He died on June 24 and was buried in his native Aurillac.
We send our condolences to his wife, children and family.
