The UK chapter of ENAC Alumni have been officially created last week. There is around 100 alumni who live in the United Kingdom and who work in various industries such as: airport operations, airport advisory, airlines, air traffic management and ground transportation. Some of our alumni work also in IT and Finance. Many are based in Greater London, but there is alumni in other regions of the Kingdom as well.

The new chapter will encourage this diverse community to share experiences, to create an  network and to facilitate professional opportunities and B2B. Moreover, it will offer thinking moments about the national industry with roundtables and other research initiatives in partnership with the think tanks of ENAC Alumni. The first one will be the phase 2 of The future of airports with the creation of a UK focus group. Other services for the members will be developed in the future.

This new chapter have been launched by Martin Lavrilloux (IENAC15), Airport Planner at WSP and Alexandra Ott (IENAC10), Senior Airport Planner at Mott MacDonald who will be respectively Chair and Vice-Chair of this new group. They have been strongly motivated by the success of the US chapter, created in December 2018, who will guide them in the beginning of the UK chapter.

The members have been contacted for the first time and their feedbacks were really positive. Their main expectations are to widen their network and to meet other graduates of ENAC in the country. In addition, some are interested in boosting the network with some activities and events developing friendships between alumni. These feedbacks augur a bright future to the UK community.
