Appointment - Nomination

Frédéric GUIGNIER (IAC 96) was appointed Director of Air Navigation Services at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in the Council of Ministers on 23 October 2024.

Engineer General of Bridges, Waters and Forests, he was Director of Strategy and Resources (DSR) at the DGAC/Directorate of Air Navigation Services (DSNA) and has been Director of the DSNA since April 2024.
He has spent his entire career at the DGAC, starting in 1998 in the Airport Management Office, before joining the DSNA's Operations Directorate. He was head of the Centre Régional de Navigation Aérienne-Est (CRNA-Est) between 2008 and 2014, and Deputy Director of Operations at the DSNA from 2014 to 2017. He was then Director of Safety and Civil Aviation for the Antilles-Guyana before returning to the DSNA in Paris in 2019, first as a project manager for two years, then as Director of Strategy and Resources.
