Towards ever safer skies | Why does safety require two pilots at the controls?
By the Syndicat National des Pilotes de Ligne France
To mark its 70th anniversary, the Syndicat National des Pilotes de Ligne (French national airline pilots' union) has been offering a series of interactive webinars since the start of the year, focusing on current issues in the airline industry. This time, the webinar will focus on the imminent arrival of artificial intelligence in the cockpit.
Join us on November 6, from 9 to 10 a.m., to discuss the RCO (Reduced Crew Operations) and eMCO (extended Minimum Crew Operations) projects. For over a year, some aircraft manufacturers have been planning to automate aircraft using artificial intelligence (AI), with the aim of replacing pilots.
To discuss these crucial issues for the safety of passengers and and cabin crew, we will be pleased to welcome : * Fanny ARONSSOHN, airline pilot and member of the Executive Board of the Syndicat National des Pilotes de Ligne. * Dr Sandrine LAUNOIS-ROLLINAT, pneumologist, sleep specialist and President of Réseau Morphée.
