The impact of cyber attacks on the air transport industry

The air transport industry faces many and varied threats. These include the theft of passenger data, the blocking of operational systems, the modification of information, the jamming of communications and the remote control of software or aircraft by malicious actors.
Attacks can affect Airport infrastructures, aircraft or air navigation systems, through flaws in IT security systems or through internal human action.
