Symposium: Track work: building safety together
The Direction de la Sécurité de l'Aviation Civile (DSAC) will hold a symposium on the safety of flight operations during runway work on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the DGAC headquarters, 50 rue Henry Farman 75015 Paris : https://www. ecologique-solidaire.gouv.fr/symposium-securite#e1
This choice, motivated by the fact that a number of major French platforms are carrying out, have carried out or will be carrying out large-scale works on or near their runways, will make it possible, thanks to the expertise of a number of experts, to provide a clear picture of the situation. The feedback from these projects will be used to prepare future projects, and to guarantee the highest possible level of safety during the works.
Joint discussions involving airfield operators, air navigation service providers, airlines and the authorities have identified several ways of improving safety during construction work. The day's symposium will therefore focus on the following areas:
- Reacting to the main accidents and incidents linked to construction work
- Jointly anticipating the risks involved in work on or near runways
- Improving coordination with users of the platform under construction
- Benefit from post-construction feedback.
This symposium is coordinated by Geoffroy Chevalier (MA AATM 2015), DGAC/DSAC. Many alumni participated in the national working group that prepared this topic in advance with stakeholders in airside operations.
Registration and participation in the event are free of charge. Registration is compulsory at this link: http://enquete.dsac.fr/index.php/231475?lang=fr
It will be possible to follow the event in streaming mode on the Internet. Access codes will be communicated at a later date.
