Les audacieuses du ciel: women pioneers in aeronautics

We are pleased to invite you to the inauguration of the exhibition"Les audacieuses du ciel : femmes pionnières dans l'aéronautique", which will take place on March 5 from 1pm to 2pm at ENAC, 7 avenue Edouard Belin, Toulouse, in the Salle Bleue.

Jointly organized by ENAC, ISAEO-SUPAERO and OSE ISAEO-SUPAERO, the exhibition is part of the ACORDA project, which aims to encourage secondary school students to go on to higher education, and to combat gender bias.

The exhibition will present ten portraits of women pilots and engineers, and sometimes both. By highlighting their contributions and achievements, the aim is to (re)shine the spotlight on women who have worked in the field of aeronautics. In this way, the perseverance and determination they have shown in overcoming obstacles of all kinds comes to the fore, in addition to making their mark in a predominantly male environment.
