Drone regulations

The outdoor use of drones, even when they are small, is considered to be an aerial activity and therefore falls under the regulations applicable to civil aviation.

A multitude of constraints, of various kinds and from many different sources, apply: prohibited, restricted and dangerous zones, vicinity of aerodromes, populated areas, military zones, natural areas, etc.

What are all the constraints that need to be complied with to prepare a drone mission properly? What are the regulations governing these constraints? Are the Member States obliged to provide these zones? If so, are the data supplied satisfactory?

The presentation will be given in French by Giulio GALLEGOS (MS APM 17), Chair of the Air Mobility Think Tank, and Cassandra ROTILY, Head of Legal and Technology at Air Space Drone.
