Aircraft and Engine Innovations & Designs to Decarbonize Commercial Aviation

Following ENAC Alumni's initiative to contribute to the French Sustainable Aviation Observatory, our working group has focused on the decarbonation levers linked to aircraft and engine technologies.

Based on available data, the idea was to identify and describe the different development paths by qualifying their maturity, complexity and impact on decarbonation.

The result is a quite exhaustive synthesis of the approaches that manufacturers and motorists could study, prioritize and combine to achieve the 2050 Net Zero objectives.
