The GIACRE invites you to attend this videoconference given by Pierre ANDRIBET (IAC 80).

At DNA from 1982 to 1988 to help meet the challenge of commissioning the CAUTRA 4 under the direction of Jean-Marc Garot; then at Thomson-CSF from 1988 to 1997 to help provide turnkey control centers; then at EUROCONTROL Brussels from 1997 to 1999 to provide support to the new Member States; and finally at the EUROCONTROL R&D center in Brétigny from 1999 to 2019 where he participated in the reorganization of the center, its influence in Europe and in particular in the SESAR program, which he describes as the unfinished dream of a European infrastructure. Pierre ANDRIBET will explain the proposals established with Jean-Marc Garot and Marc Baumgartner to achieve this common infrastructure.

Pierre ANDRIBET has co-signed with Jean-Marc Garot and Marc Baumgartner the article "Reforming air traffic control in Europe" in the 3AF Newsletter n°44 of October 2020. They detailed their proposal in an unpublished January 2021 document "Take advantage of the crisis to reinvent European air traffic control".

Pierre was invited to make this presentation during the plenary session of the Académie de l'Air et de l'Espace on Friday, September 24, but he was unable to make his presentation completely due to a technical problem with the transmission.
