Two alumni at the Elevate Aviation Cross Country Tour!

Two ENAC Alumni from the Chapter Canada took part in the Elevate Aviation Cross-Country Tour event in Montreal last Friday as speakers and volunteers: Amandine GICQUEL (MSMTA 04), Manager Industry Relationships at International Air Transport Association (IATA), and Jennifer PERIN (IENAC 13), Quality Systems, Compliance and SMS Advisor at ADM Aéroports de Montréal.

Elevate Aviation provides a platform for women and underrepresented groups to thrive and succeed through careers in aviation. This organization is now in its 8th year of inspiring youth across Canada through a well-known Cross Country Tour reaching over 1000 young participants (ages 12-17) in more than 25 cities.

Amandine and Jennifer were invited as female role models to share their stories, their experience and career journey with young attendees for them to explore the endless career possibilities in aviation.  On-hands behind-the-scenes tour of local aviation facilities such as the Air Canada cabin crew training centre and the guided visit of an aircraft and the CAE flight simulator plant completed this special day to discover what our industry has to offer to youth looking for a future opportunity to grow and soar in our industry.  

With this enriching and unique initiative, we are shaping together the future of aviation!
