A new Digital Transformation Think Tank!

We are excited to announce the creation of the Digital Transformation Think Tank, a ground-breaking initiative poised to revolutionize the aviation industry's approach to digitalization.
In an era defined by rapid technological advancement, the convergence of digital technologies such as cyber security, cloud computing, human-machine interaction, artificial intelligence, and machine learning holds immense potential for reshaping the aviation landscape.

Digitalization in aviation, encompassing cyber security and cloud technologies, alongside advancements in human-machine interaction and machine learning, is pivotal for enhancing safety, optimizing operations, and ensuring environmental sustainability. A specialized think tank can guide the industry in leveraging these technologies effectively, mitigating cyber threats, improving decision-making through data analytics, and fostering seamless integration between humans and automated systems. Embracing these innovations not only enhances passenger experience but also bolsters competitiveness by reducing costs and enabling agile responses to evolving market demands.

The Digital Transformation Think Tank will pursue the following goals:

• Identify needs in research, policies, and practices
• Conduct research initiatives, hold roundtables, and invite speakers
• Advance innovative ideas in digital transformation
• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Enhance cybersecurity awareness and technology promotion
• Promote digital transformation across the aviation ecosystem
• Promote best practices in data management and analytics

Also, the think tank will collaborate with the Workforce Development Think Tank on developing new workforce strategies and skillsets, as well as the other research groups and chapters within the association on other subjects of interest for our members and the industry.

As we embark on this transformative journey, we invite stakeholders from across the aviation ecosystem to join us in this endeavor. Together, we can unlock new possibilities, drive sustainable growth, and ensure that aviation remains at the forefront of innovation in the digital age.
