  • Our Mentoring Program is a great success. More than a dozen of participants were paired in 2019.
  • We held our first afterwork event in NYC last December. The next one might be in Florida. Stay tuned!
  • I would like to recognize our 2019 Outstanding Members: Pierre Bougeard and Loup-Giang Nguyen for their contribution to the chapter.

2020 Action Plan

  • We will hold soon a vote of confidence to confirm the 2020 action list and the current leadership.
  • We will continue the Mentoring Program and organize local events.
  • We will deliver the findings of our task forces on licenses & certifications and professional organizations.
  • We will initiate discussions on how to collaborate with U.S. universities.

The Future of Airports

  • The Future of Airports – a Vision of 2040 and 2070 is a research initiative of the Airport Think Tank of ENAC Alumni.
  • The findings of the research effort conducted last year are being delivered. You can already read the narrative of the first topics here:
  • Starting spring 2020, we will have regional and national focus groups exploring how these findings apply locally. I will send a separate email later this month to invite you to participate to the U.S. panel.

Life of the U.S. Community

  • It’s election year in the United States! Are you a U.S. citizen? Don’t forget to register to vote if you recently moved or became a citizen.

Career Opportunities and Internships

  • Internships – IENAC 2A: Two IENAC students reached out to us recently. They are in 2nd year of engineering program and they are looking for a 3-month internship this summer. Their resumes are in attachment. Please feel free to contact them directly if you are interested.
