Appointment - Patrick KY (IAC 89) received the 2025 Philip J. Klass Lifetime Achievement Award!
Last week, Patrick KY (IAC 89) had the pleasure and privilege of receiving the 2025 Philip J. Klass Lifetime Achievement Award. The ceremony, hosted by Aviation Week in the beautiful setting of the National Building Museum in Washington DC, carried on a 67-year tradition of celebrating individuals and organizations that have made a meaningful impact on the aerospace industry.
Accepting this award from Jens Flottau, Executive Editor of Aviation Week, was both a proud and truly humbling moment. While his own contributions feel modest compared to the incredible achievements of those honored before him, this recognition truly belongs to the dedication and talent of his colleagues at EASA.
It was also a wonderful evening made even more special by the warm company of friends from the United States, Europe, and Singapore.
