Appointment - Europe's new aviation safety officer
Renowned for his determination, Florian Guillermet is about to take on a major challenge: he is the new head of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). Between the crisis stemming from quality problems in the industry and the imperatives of decarbonization, the task promises to be an arduous one. And just as well, since he knows European aviation like the back of his hand, he's not afraid to get his feet wet.
