Mohamed Moufid died on Saturday, July 24, 2021. He was born on August 9, 1941 in Enjil, a rural Moroccan commune in the Province of Boulemane, in the Fès-Boulemane Region.

His professional career began in 1968 as an ENAC engineer (France).
1972: Institut sup commerce/administration entreprises (Morocco).
1968-1977: Head of Navaids department.
1977-1983: Member of Parliament.
1984-1999: Director of Civil Aeronautics.
2000-2001: Director General of Air Administration.
2001-2002: Technical advisor to the Minister of Transport.

1984-1999: Administrative Council, Airports Authority.
1995-2001: Administrative Council, Royal Air Maroc.
1984-1999: ICAO (GA, conferences/seminars, working groups).
2002: Retired adm.
2006: ICAO consultant, aeronautical expert for the Rabat Court of Appeal, advisor to the Moroccan airline.
2008: member of Académie air espace Toulouse
2011: UN aviation expert

Mohamed Moufid was an ex-international handball player, who went on to lead the FRMH with brio before joining the soccer association. He held several positions within the FRMF, including that of Secretary General, the same position he held with the Association Sportive des Forces Armées (AS FAR) club.

Two civil aviation medals. FAA medal (cooperation in aeronautical safety).
