Electrification and Hydrogen Technologies in Airports

Airports of all sizes want to understand the broader industry shift towards alternative power solutions and how to prepare. TRB will host a webinar on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Eastern that will introduce the emerging electric and hybrid electric aircraft industry. Presenters will estimate potential market growth, provide guidance to help airports estimate the potential impact on their facilities, and suggest ways to prepare for this industry shift. Attendees will see a toolkit, which includes a database of electric aircraft and estimations of electric power requirements. Presenters will also discuss the broader industry landscape of alternative power in aviation.
